This timber frame commercial project is located in Weston, West Virginia in the heart of the mountain state. The office building is occupied by the Garton's representing State Farm Insurance in the Weston area. The structure is 36' x 52' with a 22' wide timber framed center section with 6 modified hammer truss profiles spanning the center of the main lobby. Also added to the front is an additional hammer truss accenting the porch entry. More office space was added to the back of the structure using structural insulated panels to create the enclosure. This is another great example of the hybrid timber frame structure exposing the timbers in the great area only. Thanks to the crew with Morrison Construction for their expertise in finishing this project and the help they offered during the frame raising and the panel installation.
