Weston West Virginia timber frame office. For this commercial timber frame project we traveled to one of our favorite spots, the heart of the mountain state and built for the Garton's, representing State Farm Insurance in the Weston area. The structure is 36' x 52' with a 22' wide timber frame center section boasting six modified hammer truss profiles spanning the center of the main lobby. An additional hammer truss is added to the front enhancing the porch entry. Private office space was added to the back using structural insulated panels to create the enclosure. This is a truly great example of the hybrid timber frame structure exposing timbers where it works best, up front in the main great room which serves as the main lobby for the office. Thanks to the crew with Morrison Construction for their expertise in finishing this project and the help they offered during the frame raising and panel installation.
